"Bill of Lading Type"

Bill of Lading is issued for every single shipment of goods.
depend on the loading status of shipment, bill of lading may display on different statement to reflect the respective status.

variety of Bill of Lading (B/L)

• Valued bill of lading : show the value of the product/goods who declared by shipper.  by declaring this type, carrier will held liable for the value declared if found responsible once get some lost or damages to the product/goods
• Shipped on Board B/L : Indicated that the goods have been loaded on board of the vessel who carried the goods. the B/L will issue once the goods  have been actually placed aboard the vessel and carrier confirm it accordingly.
• Received for shipment B/L : Indicated that goods have been receive for shipment but not loading yet on board the vessel.  this type of B/L only be accepted under stipulated by letter of credit (LC).
• On deck B/L : stated that cargo has been stowed on deck. this type usually made for break bulk cargo that can not containerize. 
• Clean B/L : non content clause or notation expressly declaring  deficiencies in the condition of goods or their packaging.  usually not accepted by carrier due to liability reason. commonly request of this clean B/L come from letter of credit (LC) requirement.
